✨Traditional Asian Medicine✨ ✨Integrative Medicine✨
Harm Reduction and Trauma Informed Care When someone comes to me with their questions or concerns about health, my approach is to meet them where they are. I consider the information they share from a non-judgemental perspective. Every individual person has their own capacity for self-reflection and self-improvement and I consider it an honor to be picked by my client to be a part of their healing experience.
Traditional Asian Medicine Modalities (Acupuncture, Herbalism, Massage) As a practitioner of Traditional Asian Medicine I listen, visually observe, ask questions, and use touch in order to determine the root of my client’s ailments. Like traditional health practices of most other cultures (even traditional western medicine), acupuncture, Asian herbalism and massage are holistic; they consider the state of all parts of your body, mind, and spirit instead of treating an ailment as an isolated incidence.
Integrative Medicine As a practitioner, I believe that using traditional *and* modern medicine is imperative to a balanced healthcare experience. I believe that both fields of medicine have their respective triumphs and challenges that all people can benefit from both as an integrated approach. ☯Link to the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine explaining its vision, mission, and history: https://aihm.org/page/vision/
